Passionfruit, Croissubi, Green Onion Croissants and More

Hi Friends!  The world has been quite a strange place lately and we feel like we are starting to see glimmers of light at the end of the tunnel. We hope that we can bring everyone a little bit of distraction and joy with our pastries. Our Bake Sum Boxes are available for pick up this Friday (9/18) and Saturday (9/19) at 4100 Third Street in San Francisco. Preorders can be made at BakeSum.com.  What's inside the box this week? Each pastry box includes: 

• Croissubi: Our Spam Musubi croissant filled with seaweed, spam and topped with togarashi and parmesan cheese 

• Green Onion Croissant: Inspired by the green onion pancake, filled with fresh green onions, maldon sea salt, toasted sesame oil and a coat of sesame seeds 

• Passion Fruit Croissant: A seasonal special with fresh passion fruit curd from Elaine's garden enveloped in our fluffy croissant dough 

• Strawberry Matcha Bun: Our milk bread filled with matcha pastry cream, strawberry jam and a crunchy top 

• White Sesame Roll Cake: Chiffon cake filled with a toasted white sesame filling and paired with our house made plum jam 

• Mochi Bites: in brown butter, black sesame, ube (purple yam) and Thai tea 

• Brown Butter Madeline: A decadent and rich cake that we recommend enjoying with some tea 

Oakland Launch! We are excited to share that we have partnered with Magnolia Mini Mart in West Oakland to be an official vendor and pick up location for Bake Sum Pastries as well.
